Research Executive

Position Title: Research Executive
Department Name: Research Department
Reports To: Head of Research

Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze local and international media (conventional, unconventional) related to economic, social, and business / industry development to ensure up-to-date intelligence and insights on market drivers and performance
Engage with the "Project Manager" of each project during project design, development and execution phases to provide timely needed data, insights and analysis in coherence with department standards.
Draft contextual information materials, such as questionnaire, datasheets, background notes, economic and political profiles of relevance to projects in hand; Manage data and insights to ensure its accessibility by other team members (when/if needed) and utility.
Produce accurate and timely analysis, reports, video scripts, infographic content, papers, newsletters, and other types of deliverables that support the on-going projects handled by the department
Attend meetings with management as required, but not limited to, subject specific projects with clients
Research and gather a wide range of data, insights for Multiply Research & Consultancy website, social media platforms, and company profile.
Develop and edit materials, including writing short articles, blog's content and video clips to be published on the company website, Social media as well as printed materials including profile
Develop tenders, proposals for different tenders and research related projects and pitches covering economic / social analysis, business consultancies, data mining, and other possible deliverables
Participate in the development and implementation in conjunction with management, growth strategy of Multiply Research & Consultancy and provide actionable business intelligence when needed.
Ensure all research standards and best practices are applied throughout the course of all research projects, as per procedures and practices implemented in the department

Educational Qualifications, Qualifications & Experience
• Master degree in Business Administration (Economics, International Relation)
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration Preferably Economics, Social Sciences
• 4 - 6 years of working experience with a min of 4 years of directly related experience
• High exposure to quantitative and qualitative research studies, interfacing with clients to proactively deliver on agreed KPIs
• Good knowledge of market research techniques, approaches and methodologies
• Evolving knowledge of UAE/ region market dynamics and key industries drivers
• Good understanding of Economic metrics and fundamentals
• Good understanding of geo-economic drivers and analysis
• Good command in speaking, reading and writing of English and Arabic languages
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office (especially Access & Excel), PASW (SPSS) statistical software, social media platforms, and general Internet and electronic communications.

Research Executive - Political Science

Position Title: Research Executive - Political Science
Department Name: Research Department
Reports To: Head of Research

Research Skills
• Conduct secondary research on political processes and policies
• Conduct secondary research on topics, such as public opinion, political decision-making, and ideology.
• Conduct secondary research and monitor resources that provide critical information on political issues
• Conduct public opinion surveys, analyze election results
• Interview high-ranking officials.
• Assist in raising public awareness of important political and social issues
• Assist in studying the origin, development, and operation of political systems
• Consult with and advise government officials, civic bodies, research agencies, the media, political parties, and others concerned with political issues when needed.
• Conduct research, both independently and collaboratively.

Analysis skills
• Review and analyze media coverage (print and broadcast), public opinion surveys and expert opinions from economists, government representatives and political consultants.
• Analyze / assists in analyzing public documents policies, public issues, legislation, and/or the operations of governments, businesses, and organizations
• Assist in developing and test theories, using information from interviews, newspapers, periodicals, case law, historical papers, polls, and/or statistical sources.
• Analyze the structure and operation of governments, as well as various political entities.
• Analyze policies and their implications on social, economic angles
• Assist in predicting political, social, and economic trends; and evaluate the cultures, values, and political ideologies of foreign governments.
• Identify new areas of research that comes out of the primary and secondary
• Use statistical analysis to analyze research results. Present research findings. Recommend courses of action.
• Support in developing and testing theories, using information from interviews, newspapers, periodicals, case law, historical papers, polls, and/or statistical sources.
• Maintain current knowledge of government policy decisions.

Reports & Presentation Skills
• Strong spoken and written communications skills
• Reports writing and presentation targeting senior management levels.
• Develop Executive reports to managers with the latest trends, developments and critical factors, within the political, social and economic sphere.
• Write drafts of legislative proposals, and prepare speeches, correspondence, and policy papers for governmental use ( When needed)
• Good commands of presentation software - especially power point and other presentation software (prezi, infographics, etc..).

• Ability to take responsibility in meeting deadlines and making progress with & without direct supervision
• Capacity and will to learn new software, research methods, and work routines quickly

Educational Qualifications, Qualifications & Experience
• B.S. in Business Administration- Political Science
• 2- 6 years of working experience in political research
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point) and general Internet and electronic communications.
• Good command in speaking, reading and writing of English & Arabic languages

Senior Market Analyst

Position Title: Senior Market Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage with the "Project Manager" of each project during project design, development and execution phases to provide timely needed data, insights and analysis in coherence with department standards.
• Understand business objectives to discover prospective customers' preferences
• Prepare tender documents, commercial proposals, design and execute surveys, run analysis and writing detailed and executive reports
• Produce accurate and timely analysis, reports, video scripts, infographic content, papers, newsletters, and other types of deliverables that support the on-going projects handled by the department
• Attend meetings with Busines Development Manager as required, but not limited to, subject specific projects with clients
